Amber Newberry and Laurie Moran of FunDead Publications will share their experiences and expertise, acquired through the process of bringing novels, anthologies, and many other projects to print. They will share valuable insights gleaned from their roles as: writers, editors, beta readers, and publishers. Laurie and Amber will cover everything from the various options for self-publishing avenues, to tips on selecting cover art, to ISBN’s, and competitive pricing.
Meg Wasmer, the Manager of Cabot Street Books, will be providing a booksellers’ perspective on what bookstores like to see in the finished product, along with some best practices on etiquette for when and how to contact them, or any other independent book store.
